Location: Look to the Northeast and you should see a Fruit Stand. Go just behind that Fruit Stand and you will find this Film Reel near the building to the right.

Location: Go down the alley on the side of Dr. Marshall's Clinic to the Southeast and you will find this Film Reel along the wall behind the clinic building. Location: Go East on Navy St. After it curves go into that porch area of the building to your left to find this Film Reel.

Location: Go East on Farragut St. Location: Go East on Main St. You should find this Film Reel behind a trunk up ahead. Location: Go South on Church St. Go to the end of this alley and you will find this Film Reel to your left.

Location: Go West on Dock St. You will find this Film Reel behind some wooden crates at the end of this alley. Location: Go East on Adams St. Go around the corner to your right at the end of the alley and you will find the Film Reel here. Location: Go into the area on the West side of the St. Location: Look to the Southwest and you should see a small building here all by itself.

Go down the small alley on the South side of this small building to find this Film Reel. Location: Look to the West and you should see a big ship. Location: make your way West down Gold St. Go to the West end of this porch area to find this Film Reel.

Location: Go South on Pitt St. When you get to the end of the alley you will see a trunk near some trash can fires near the center of this area. You will find this Film Reel between that trunk and trash fires you will want to shoot the trash cans or crash through them with a vehicle to reveal the Film Reel.

Go behind that Newspaper Stand to find this Film Reel. Location: Go South on Attorney St. Enter the Chinatown Warehouse to your left North and just as you enter you will find this Film Reel to your right East just behind the crates at the entrance to this Warehouse area. Location: Go North on Bowery St.

Go around the corner of the building to your left up ahead and you will see a dumpster in front of you. Go to the other side of that dumpster and you will find this Film Reel hidden beside it. Location: Go West on Bleecker St.

Look to your left as you enter and you will see this Film Reel. Location: Go North on Mulberry St. Go down the narrow alley you see to your left and you will find this Film Reel near the back door of this building. Location: Go West on Prince St. Go up the stairs you find in this alley and you will find the Film Reel at the top of the stairs.

Location: Go South on Christie St. Go around the corner to your right up ahead and you will see this Film Reel inside of a little gap in the wall to your left. Go around the corner to your right and go down the stairs you see in front of you to find this Film Reel at the bottom of the stairs. Location: Go West on Grand St.

Go South on Lafayette St. Go around the corner of the building to your left and just before you reach the end of this alley you will find this Film Reel behind a dumpster to your right. Location: Go West on Hester St.

Look to the left South just before you reach Lafayette and you should see an alley here. Go into that alley and go around the corner of the building to your left.

Go up the stairs you see in front of you and you will find this Film Reel at the top of these stairs. Location: Go West on Broome St. Location: Go South on Washington St. Location: Go East on Charles St. Intersection to Start Directions below from: Jude St. Location: Go North on Jude St. Go down this ramp and you will find this Film Reel near the wall behind the trash can fires at the bottom of this loading dock ramp. Location: Go west on Morton St. Enter that fenced in area and go to the Northwest corner of this area to find this Film Reel near a doorway just behind the crates here.

Intersection to Start Directions below from: Market St. Location: Go South on Market St. Make your way to the far Southeast corner of this warehouse and you will find a small building with windows on the two sides of it. Shoot out either window and vault into the now opened window and grab this Film Reel that is in the corner of this small room. Location: Go South on Center St. You should see a large building to your left. Go up the stairs in front of this building and you will find this Film Reel behind the second pillar from the right at the top of these stairs.

Location: Go West on Chambers St. You will find this Film Reel on the other side of the stairs you see to your right. When you reach the bottom of this ramp look to your left and you will see this Film Reel near the wall here. When you reach the bridge go up the stairs you see to the right to get onto the walkway along the side of the bridge and go South along this walkway to find this Film Reel.

Follow this highway as it curves to the right West up ahead and after the curve drive over to the first gap in the wall you see on the left side of this highway. Drive to the West end of this gap in the wall and you should see this Film Reel near the wall here up ahead. Follow the right tunnel until you reach an emergency parking gap on the right side of this tunnel. Intersection to Start Directions below from: Franklin St. Location: Go East on Franklin St.

Turn left into the open area behind the building to your left and you will see this Film Reel behind a Pile of Bricks. Location: Look to the Northeast and you should see an alley here.

Go down the that alley and you will find this Film Reel at the end of this small alley. Location: Go West on 14th St. Enter that small porch area and you will find this Film Reel to the left East side of this small porch area. As you enter go to the left South side of the staircase here to find this Film Reel. Location: Go North on Washington St. Go up the stairs that is near the police car and you will find this Film Reel next to the back door of the Police Station.

Location: Go East on Hudson St. Go to the East end of that porch area to find this Film Reel. Go into that gap and you will find this Film Reel. Location: Go North on Park Ave. Follow the right tunnel until you reach the first Emergency Parking area to your right.

Once you reach it continue to go past it but go slower and watch the left side of this tunnel. After you have gone pass two staircases on the left side of this tunnel you should see the Film Reel along the walkway on the left side of this tunnel near a small crate.

Stop the car at the next staircase you come to and go to the end of the walkway at the top of the stairs to get this Film Reel I probably don't need to tell you but I will anyways shoot the small crate in the way to get to the Film Reel.

Location: Go South on Park Ave. Enter that small porch area and you will find this Film Reel at the right North side of this porch area.

Location: Go North on Garden St. Go around the corner of the building to your right and you will find this Film Reel here. Location: Go South on Newark St. Enter that area and you will find this Film Reel on the right North side of this small area. Location: Go North on Clinton St. You get the idea?

Your world is the New York metropolitan area five decades ago. Each are interconnected and the game world is rather vast. But no fears - there are two important things you can use to traverse through the game.

One, seen in the left side screen below, is a small map that shows your general vicinity. On it will appear various things that can be seen on the main map by pausing and selecting "Map" from the menu see the right screen below.

The legends on both are the same. Houses represent safehouses, family crests indicate businesses, rackets, hubs, compounds and warehouses owned by the family of the particular crest shown. And on and on and on. You can see a complete legend by viewing the Map and following the necessary on-screen prompts. One thing we do suggest you do with your map is utilize the "target," which is a black X in a red box.

This can be moved around the map to target specific things that may be important to you one thing at a time. We used it in various ways. You can use it to pinpoint your target, whether it be for a hit, or a safehouse, or a business to takeover. We usually put it on a safehouse in whatever section we were in so we can quickly get back there if we were in trouble with the cops or were in dire need of some health, ammunition, or a simple save. Don't underestimate its usefulness!

Cops play a huge role in this game. They watch everything you do, and sometimes they're just not that happy about it. You gain "heat" when you do something bad Depending on who you kill or what you do, heat levels will fluctuate. As they rise, you'll have more and more cop presence on you in terms of cop cars, cops shooting at you, cops following you. While you can bribe them to leave you alone to a certain point, if you get as crazy as we did in say, the screens below, bribing a cop is not going to do much.

They don't like it when you run over half of the population of New York City with one of their own cars as we did below. It's not really that much money and it's highly worth it. If you lose a mob war, you lose your businesses, so you can either bomb a rival mob's facilities or, more easily, pay the FBI off. We suggest the latter each and every time.

You can find a G-Man in any of the five sections of the game, and they're located on the maps. Try looking in basement churches to begin with, although there are a couple that are more cleverly hidden. Use your map's legend and you won't have too much trouble finding one. They are vital to your success in the game This Basics section can go on and on, but we won't insult your intelligence. We'll just touch on a couple of things that we deem important enough to mention, then we'll let you get into the meat of the guide, which is our humongous walkthrough and compendium of appendices.

First and foremost, healing, dying, and all of that jazz. Your health meter is the green meter on your screen and represents your health status. When you get shot, punched, run over However, some of it can be regained if you give it some time. If worse comes to worse, you can always pick up a health container also.

If you die or are "Iced" you'll be brought to a clinic or hospital where you can buy a health item if need be. These are located on your maps and are not over-difficult to explore.

In fact, if you want to gain access to all of the safes in the game, you'll need to hit them all up anyway. As you enter you will see this Film Reel to your right. You will find this Film Reel behind that shrub here. Location: Go South on 10th Ave. You have now unlocked: Good Morning Mr. Location: Go West on 48th St. Go into the opening in the small brick wall and you will find this Film Reel to your left near the back of this small brick wall.

Location: Go North on 10th St. Go around the corner of the building to your right and you will see this Film Reel to the left of the staircase here. Location: Go West on 52nd St. You should see the Film Reel near the wall to your left as you turn the corner. Location: Go West on 46th St. You will find this Film Reel just behind the dumpster here. Location: Go South on 12th Ave. When the street ends at the bottom of the hill you should see a small building to your right.

Go behind that building and you will find this Film Reel Hidden in a gap just behind the building. Get back into the car and follow the Train tracks you are near to the East until they run into Train tracks going North. Drive along the right side of the Eastern most tracks to the North. You will be going under a couple of streets along these tracks and as you go under 46th St. Continue North and you will see a open train car up ahead.

Go into that Train car using the ramp on the other side of it and you will find this Film Reel inside the Train car at the East end of it. Follow this highway for awhile and it will eventually curve to the left East. Continue to follow it and it will eventually go across a metal bridge. After you go across the bridge the highway will curve right and then left. Once the highway curves left look at the left North side of the highway and you will see this Film Reel near the wall.

Follow this highway for awhile and you will eventually see a ramp leading down to the Hell's Kitchen Loop. Go down that ramp and at the bottom of it you should see a an opening in the wall to your left. Go into that opening and you will find this Film Reel near the wall to your right as you enter. Get back into the car and continue South along Hell's Kitchen Loop. Follow this until you see an exit ramp to your right with a sign that says "Hell's Kitchen Industrial Park" and when you get to the top of this exit ramp you should be at the intersection of Philipp St.

Go West on Peter St. You will find this Film Reel at the bottom of these stairs. Go back up the stairs and drive North on Kennedy the street right near the stairs you went down. Turn right onto Hudson St. Go up the stairs you see to the right and walk along the ledge to your right to find this Film Reel.

Location: Go West on 17th St. Go straight down the center of this park and you should see this Film Reel to your left near some shrubs. Location: Go North on 4th Ave. You will find this Film Reel at the end of this small alley behind a trash can.

Location: Go South on 5th Ave. If you went into the second one look to your right after you enter and if you went into the third one look to your left after you enter to see this Film Reel on the side of a shrub here. Location: Look to the Northwest and you should see a shrub here at the corner of these streets. Go behind that shrub and you will find this Film Reel.

You will see this Film Reel in the third gap in the wall you see to the right. Location: Go West on 34th St. Go to the end of this alley and you will find this Film Reel. Location: Go North on Lexington Ave. Go around the corner of the building to your left up ahead and then go around the corner to the right.

You should see this Film Reel directly in front of you as you go around that corner. Location: Go West on 37th and enter the "Flowers of Scotland" business to your right. Gain access to the back door by extorting from the clerk and then enter the back door. Go up the stairs to your left and then go into the room to your left at the top of the stairs. As you enter this room you will see this Film Reel to your left. Location: Go East on 40th St. Sizzles Steakhouse to your left. Go into the door just to the right of the stairs and you will find this Film Reel behind the crates here to your right.

Location: Go West on 42nd St. As you enter go around the corner of the wall up ahead to the right and you will see a bunch of shrubs here in front of you. Go pass the first set of shrubs and look behind the first center shrub of the next set to find this Film Reel. Location: Look to the Southeast and you should see a shrub in front of a building here. Location: Look to the South and you should see a Ticket booth here. Go behind that Booth and you will find this Film Reel.

Location: Go East on 52nd St. Go behind the Western most shrubbery and you will find this Film Reel. Go into the left Eastern Archway you see up ahead and as you enter go into the archway you see to your right. You should see this Film Reel to your right. Get back into the car and continue up this street as it curves to the left and then to the right to continue going South on this street. As you go South on this street you should see some trunks on the street up ahead and after you go pass them you should see this Film Reel to your right near the wall.

Location: Go East on East 79th St. Enter the Compound and make your way to the Southeastern corner wall at the side of the Western house in this compound to find this Film Reel. As you enter look to your left and you will see this Film Reel near the wall.

You should see a Monument here to your right. Go behind that Monument and you will find this Film Reel. Safe houses Q. I am missing some of the 24 Safe houses and I don't see anymore on the map. Here is a list of how many Safe houses are at each area of the map and how to get them.

FBI Agents Yes, I am aware this is not a collectible but since many are asking about it we figured we would add it in anyways since we are doing locations in this guide. Where are the FBI Agents? Look on the map and push R1 to bring up the list of Icons. Look for these Icons on the map and you will find them where those Icons are. Enter St. Anne's Church and go to your right as you enter the church. Use the door to your right to go down to the basement of this Church and you will find this FBI Agent hiding in the corner to your left as you enter one of the rooms of this basement.

Enter the Holy Cross Church on 42nd St. Walk along the left side of the building to your right and you will find the FBI Agent hiding near the back corner of this building.

West Side Highway As you drive towards this Icon you will come to a bridge and on the East side of the bridge you will see this FBI Agent standing on the walkway along the side of the bridge.

You can't miss this guy he is standing in plain view on the sidewalk where the icon is on the map. George's Church on Newark St. How do I do the various Execution Styles that I am missing? Here is a list of The Execution Styles and how to do them feel free to send in changes or improvements for this section if you have a better way of doing one.

Note: Most of these styles you will need the Rival Family Member to be low on health before you can use execute on them. Some of them you will need to wait until you see the Execute prompt at the top of the screen before you can do it and others you will just need to do the specified act to complete the Execution.

You will need a Rival Family Member for most of these Executions and for others you can use a pedestrian.
