Tool army message board
Hahaha, honestly, that was the first thought i had when i read this. I've seen FatLittleParasite post it some time ago. But i also know E4T has this as his profile picture. I do not see any problem with tool army. Maynard against merchandizing and licensing? Puscifer store? Seriously, if there ever is a chance to make a buck out of something, someone will certainly do it. The difference is, do you get the share of the profit. If you take the deal as merely paying for something like get rid of some ideology of what artists should do and not , 50 bucks is not that much for some licensed products.
I would not take the deal, but dont really see problem if someone does or offers that kind of thing. I wouldn't mind Tool Army, but I don't see why I have to "pay" to discuss stuff about Tool, when I can come here and essentially get the same thing for free. Originally Posted by Esurient4Truth. Lets not forget exclusive access to Blair's some times unintelligible blatherings. Thank you for the welcome Yast3r. Pre Sales for what? Originally Posted by Mooseifer. Personally I think it's great. I always do. Are you guys not TOOL fans? Mooseifer I must have been thrown off by the name of this web site. I am not sure how many of you guys around here get to read some of what Blair posts but cryptic is an understatement depending on what kind of literature you are into, entertaining though and thats enough for me. No surprise at all, and some of them I can't blame. Lately, I myself have had a bitter taste but that is as far as it goes. I am a fan of the music first so what they do or don't do extracurricular-y doesn't really bother me. BTW, why does your postcount stay on "0"? I've never seen that before. Edit: "Forum Feedback" doesn't add up in postcount i now do realize. Sure, totally. Server maintenance. For nearly two months at a time. Originally Posted by hushypushy. I have well over bootlegs and I got burnt out on them too. I reserve Tool for just special times now I am still a fan but, the lack of changes to songs in a set list isn't really something to get excited over.
Especially these days when bands are playing full albums from start to finish or constantly changing the set every night. Plus the whole crappy Puscifer thing has become very stale to me anyway and it gets in the way of Tool recording new material.
