The SHINE program fills this gap by working with groups of young girls within school hours and school environment to provide engaging activities, support and rewards.

Program activities are designed to develop fundamental character traits enabling participants to be better prepared to learn in a classroom, develop positive relationships and be employed in a future occupation.

Support is delivered with a dedicated Program Facilitator who connects in with community resources to provide individual and group strategies. Our program participants are rewarded with experiences they may not otherwise have access to.

The criteria to qualify for rewards is determined in partnership with the school. These empowered young women have shared many wonderful success stories over the years. We look forward to working with many more young students so they can realise a brighter future as well. She nominated our program because of the work we are doing in the the Midwest region and how we help and inspire young women to become more confident.

Our SHINE counselors help Medicare beneficiaries save thousands of dollars on their health care costs each year through unbiased plan comparisons and knowledge of various assistance programs and resources. Counseling can be conducted over the phone or at a counseling site in your community.
